Being in politics is a job that comes with a paid salary. If you work, you get paid. This is a multimillion dollar fundraising operation that is not limited to the State of Virginia or the United States of America. If you bring a donor from the States or from overseas who wishes to contribute $100,000/$1,000,000 or more to Anna's political campaign, you keep $50,000/$500,000. You will have then worked for Anna's campaign and as a successful fundraiser, certainly, you will require a fee for your fundraising services--50% of whatever you bring to the table. In other words, you need to get paid for the work you do. If you bring $100,000 to the table, you definitely deserve to keep $50,000, i.e., half of the money.
